01

BOARDS AND OFFICERS

Six questions your board should be able to answer, and the evidence behind each.

02

INCIDENT INVESTIGATION

Investigations that find which controls failed, and why.

03

SAFETY REALITY ASSESSMENT

Four weeks, one material problem, diagnosed properly.

04

PSYCHOSOCIAL RISK

Assessed with your people and built into the system you already run.

05

MONITOR

Reporting that says whether the risk changed, not just whether a number moved.

06

FRACTIONAL HEAD OF SAFETY

The same senior person, a fixed number of days a month.

07

WHS ADVISOR INDUCTION

A one-day capability program, followed up at 90 days.

SERVICES

Start with the situation you're in.

Most people don't call a safety consultant for a service. They call because something has happened. Find the situation closest to yours. Every engagement is led by the principal.

01 · SERVICE

WHS consulting and audits

An independent read on where you actually stand, against the legislation that applies in your state, your client's prequalification requirements, and AS/NZS ISO 45001 where you're chasing certification.

CAPABILITY

Four services, one standard of evidence.

We start at the workface and finish in the boardroom, because a finding that doesn't reach the people who can resource it doesn't change anything.

02 · SERVICE

Safety systems and documentation

Safety management plans, SWMS, risk registers, policies and procedures, written for your operation and your workforce, not lifted from a generic template pack.

03 · SERVICE

Incident investigation and risk advisory

Investigations after something goes wrong, and facilitated risk assessment before it does. Findings that identify system causes, not just the person closest to the event.

04 · SERVICE

Safety leadership and executive advisory

Developing WHS leaders who can influence an operation, and giving boards and executives the risk picture they need to decide with confidence.

Strategy that starts from the work.

THE ORM METHOD

Most safety strategies start from the standard and a maturity model. Ours start from evidence about what is actually happening at the workface, and which critical risks the gap matters for.

Diagnose

Define

Design

Deliver

Sustain

We test what is actually happening against evidence from independent streams, not against what the documents intend.

We name the fundamental problem, not the forty findings.

We narrow it to the critical few: three to five priorities, with a reason for what was left out.

Every priority gets an owner, a sequence, a first hundred days, a measure and a forum.

Operational leaders answer for safety in the same forums as production and cost.

No software to sell. No certificate to issue.

ORM Safety doesn't resell a safety platform, sell e-learning modules or run a training catalogue, and can't certify a system it has advised on. Assurance from someone with something else to sell you is not assurance.

NEXT STEP

Not sure which situation fits?

Describe what's happening in a few lines. We'll point you to the right starting point, or to someone else if it isn't our work.
